It's amazing a smoke alarm has gone off for a week but it has--who knows how long the one by the front desk has been out--I don't work there; worse are drug dealers. Nothing has changed at The Budget Inn--except for a hotplate and if you want all the wrong people to stay longer they can at Extended Drug Stay.

Homeless people stay next to me because someone's being kind to their friends who probably got homeless because of drugs--they're staying for free--unattended--I have no idea who they are nor am I interested. Until or when they snap I'd like to know what they're doing there--an ID would be nice: I had to show mine. Motel 666 is saving a fortune on security, batteries and management; it's how they make money. The rooms are certainly improved but when the crew shows-up I slam the door in their face so they know--maybe that's why there are shoe marks on the door.
When someone asked me if their woman could use the bathroom I looked at them like they were out of touch--they looked at me in return like my brain was exposed.

A woman using the toilet with you right there is weird to most, a fetish to some but normal to crazy people.
People walk in off the street like it's nothing all the time--they don't stay there, but they do because they're there all the time--it is a rallying point for idiots, the mentally ill and those heading up the river who I hope never return but they probably will--with more tattoos on their face than they had the last time they got busted; at times like this I regret my life choices and wish I studied the art of knocking five people out at once because it might come in handy this time.

I have always had the feeling someone is going to get shot next door--it's like the DMV--one customer after another: thanks to the parents of Britney Smears who are also there--it's amazing how deep she is already. I also checked-in Friday night but the rent was due the following Friday morning--to keep the peace and so I would know new news the night before, as I normally would, I planned on paying Friday night--maybe I can get a free day when I check-out a day early and sleep next door where the door is always open--except for when the homeless refuse to open the door like they actually already have--they don't like checking-out early, either (the executives have done it again; nice murals but I can do without the syringes, being ignored and seemingly gouged--it's probably not Luke ratting-out the crew: It's your big mouth) thanks aw

I could not get a refund for something that was out of my hand!

I stayed at this motel recently and had an absolutely horrible experience. The room I was given was infested with termites - they were crawling out of the bed and walls.

In the middle of the night, I woke up covered in bugs, which was a nightmare scenario. When I asked for a refund due to the unlivable conditions, the motel staff refused, blaming me for staying half of the stay already.

I cannot stress this enough: do not ever go to this motel. It is clearly infested with termites, and the management's refusal to take responsibility for the situation is unacceptable. It was a truly horrifying experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

However, I must mention that despite the terrible conditions, the staff at the motel were surprisingly amazing.

They were friendly, responsive, and tried to be helpful given the circumstances.

Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the severe termite infestation.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at this motel due to the termite issue and the management's lack of accountability. It's a shame because the staff members are commendable, but the overall experience was a complete disaster.

I reserved a room at Motel 6 for $74 in Palm Springs. We ended up at the wrong Motel 6, but in the same city, for $63.

I called back the first Motel 6 and cancelled within the allowed time. I asked for a refund and received no response after numerous attempts.

It's almost six months later and I'm being ignored. My reference ID# is GRS9PQJ6.

Motel6 used to have higher standards and more professional now it's no more than a regular motel in the hood could have went to a motel in the projects and got better treatment .

Motel6 needs to clean up their rooms the house keeping staff is walking around on their phones and banging on the door to ask them do they need anything for their room such as towels and toilet paper they are rude and annoying you need to check the people you are hiring look at there back ground because you never know who you getting for these jobs and definitely check out human resources department that is who is responsible for it check out their back ground too and see what they are hiding in the closet.

Worst experience ever

Ordered a room online, paid for it, and when I got there, I was told no one had paid, so I paid again. The ceiling was stuck and the ice machine was broken, amongst other issues.

I am very upset of the disregard shown to my husband who has a disability. The reason that I feel this way is that the front desk and property manager promised to do things that were never followed up on.

This is not in regards to towels or anything like that. This is in regards to an injury that was preventable and was brought to their attention.

They didn't think it was a big deal, well it is a big deal and if the room was really ADA compliant the injury would have never happened. Now it's costing him $190 ER fee, plus whatever other Rx, and follow up ppt are needed.

On November 23, 2024, I reserved a deluxe queen double bed. The clerk charged me $146.00 and told me they were phasing out the deluxe rooms.

I have been staying at Motel 6 almost every week. The TVs don't work, and there are roaches and gnats - that's a whole other story. I would like to be reimbursed for the $146.00 I paid, as I had to settle for a king room without a fridge or microwave. I paid for a deluxe room but did not receive it.

This used to be a nice, quiet place to get away, but now, considering the money I've been spending, I am very disappointed.

I want my money back for a room I did not receive. Please and thank you.

Poor management, poor service; rooms are very badly maintained... I've been waiting for four days to have the heater, phone, stove fixed, and towels and bedding changed...

I had asked for a room change and still, no reply to my request. I do not know who is running this place, most of the time no one is at the desk... when you talk with someone... they just say 'I will write it now' and that's the end of it...

I am very pissed off... Way past disappointed...

Tush is a horrible manager as result I’m in the hospital

About a year ago over $5,00 worth of items were stolen from my room while I was gone. Tush got upset that I called the police and made a report, he said I blamed the staff because nobody else had a key to my room.

On December 9 2024 someone booked me a room there.

When Tush seen me he immediately began to be rude I told him Id call corporate he replied he didnt care. The police were called and I was trespassed for no reason and arrested I was not allowed to get my medicine for heart failure.

The front desk area is very nice and clean. The rooms...not so much.

I stayed once and one of the towels and one pillow case was dirty. Headboard wasn't wiped. Roach on the ceiling. Bag of water tied up beside the bed.

The water was nice and hot though. I made a reservation for a friend recently after telling her it's a bad idea and the customer service from the female manager was the worst....thee absolute worse. She needs to take a professionalism class quick. She is lucky I am a decent well mannered person with control because I know some people that would not have been able to handle such nasty and rude behavior.

My friend reserved a room here...I actually did it for her in my name and she ended up cancelling it a few hours later because, it was looking like she wasn't going to be able to be there. Turns out, she could, so she asked me to rebook.

Annoyed slightly, I did. I went in, paid, got my keys, and left. She never made it to the room because she ended up sick at the hospital. I called the hotel to let them know the circumstances and was asking could I possibly get a discount I'm the next stay because it wasn't there fault she got sick and never made it to the room.

The male on the phone said, yes come in and lets talk about it. I did go in and talk to him and he said that he was new here and had to wait on a manager. He took my number. She never called.

I called the next day and a female told me the manager wasn't in at the moment, but she is in and out all day. I never got a call. I tried one more time and the guy told me on this day that he would reserve the room and I said, do I have to pay anything and he said no. I was shocked.

I expected a discount. I told her she was good to go for the following week. That day comes and I go in and get the room key and the guy says he has my room and ask me how I am paying. I'm baffled because I knew I have called up there many times and we already had this discussed.

He was very adamant in telling me that I did not pay for the room. He said that the payment never went through, even though I was showing him on my phone that it did. He didn't listen or look. He just became extremely rude.

I was shocked, but I like him, I was able to hold my composure. As I told him I understand that he was frustrated, but so was I. The part that bother me the most was him saying that the car was never charged. She gave me the money and I put it on my card and it was showing plan as they, but all he was concerned about is that I had made cancellations before.

She never even wanted her money back all she wanted was to stay and was hoping for a discount. He ended up calling the manager because I said that I was going to call the police because I literally was wondering if the payment did not in fact go through where did it go? I didn't call them thieves or anything. I asked him could he look on the camera and see the day that I came in there because it shows the time on the bank statement and he said no that the cameras didn't work, which I'm sure it was a lie.

I went outside and called my friend and ask her what she wanted me to do because this was her money. The manager did end up showing up. She walked inside and I assumed she asked for me because she came right back outside and waved at me to come in. I was thinking thank God, because that guy was so rude I didn't want to deal with him anymore.

He continuously cut me off as I tried to speak to him and give me the I don't care attitude. I was in complete disbelief because he was the one that told me that I could get a discount and to come talk to him. I came in and I told her exactly what was going on and she couldn't wait for me to finish say what I had to say because soon as my mouth closed hers open and she said her rehearsed line and such a nasty and negative way. She was so passive aggressive.

I guess you can call it nice but nasty. She said, you cancel, you did not pay all good. I said yes I did cancel if you times, but I did not cancel this one. She kept telling me you were not charged.

He was very dismissive, she like communication, she had zero professionalism. She was even worse than the guy. At this point it became personal because it wasn't about getting the money back to my friend because I would have gave it back to her. At that point it was personal because why was this woman talking to another woman like this?

Why was she treating me like I was some dog telling me you can go. Why was she raising her voice at me as if I were her child? Why does she feel the need to be so nasty. When the police arrive she did say finally that I did pay.

The officer just wanted to know what I was trying to get out of the ordeal. I said I (she) didn't want the money. I never once asked for a refund, but I was insulted that I was being told that I never paid. I had no reason to lie.

I said can I get a room stay next week and she said with a much more pleasant demeanor that the most she could do was give me a discount and so the officer said he was glad we could work it out and he left with a smile outside. I also was smiling because I couldn't believe, how much she had toned down and I was actually glad that the immature act was over. He left and she dryly said she would give me the discount again and it came up to the same exact price that it was, so all I did was ask her, well wait how is that a discount? He became engaged and said " IF YOU WANT TO STAY HERE THIS IS WHAT YOU GOING TO PAY SO ARE YOU GOING TO PAY".

It was the loudness for me. I got a little while back and of course she played the victim has expected and told me to leave before she called the police. I just left because at that point I can see that that grown woman still had the mind of a child. I asked the officer had he ever heard anything about this hotel and he said he had heard some things.

This prompted me to go online and look at the reviews. I don't think their reading will be going up unless they get some favors because that customer service was terrible and very much uncalled for. Telling me that you have no way to see if I went in the room when I'm sure the housekeeper would have told them that no one was in that room that day and the cameras that they have that so called don't work would have showed the same. It's fine though.

Karma is real and she will feel it one way or another. She also decided to put me on the do not reserve them so that I could not get a room there ever again. She really went out of her way and showed her true character. Pretty lady with a ugly attitude.

It didn't bother me because I wasn't going to stay there anyway, but I did give my friend half the money back. She ended up getting a room there that night. I told her not to give them her business. She has a hard head.

The room she went in that night was nasty. The only thing I regret is getting this room for her. As for the reason why she's not getting the room in her name is not the most important part. The most important part is as a customer you should never be treated or talked to a certain way.

If you have a business you're supposed to be an act as a businessman or woman and if you can't been your business is going to fail, but with that nonchalant attitude, I guess she doesn't care. I have audio of how nasty she was to me and I'm happy to share it, if needed.

Life goes on. As for me if I ever book a hotel, it's going to be a good one and this one is not it, in my opinion.

It's hard to believe that a well-known motel chain would tolerate this kind of behavior. Luckily, not all Motel 6s are like this! The manager, Skye Patel, and his staff at the Marianna Motel 6 were so awesome!!!
