Dangerous Stay

3704 Vanrick Dr, Kalamazoo Mi The bf of the woman stayed at the counter when i checked in and gave my info. He reeked of marijuana. I didnt get a reciept b/c the printer was broke. The wifi was broke. No wifi. People just hanging out in front of their rooms. The party got started @ 9pm with spanish music blaring all around and in between songs you hear police sirens. Broke down truck w/ 2 flat tires and no plate in the parking lot Dried urine all over the toilet and; bathroom wall . The bathtub had burn marks from where a hot crackpipe would be down on it. the toilet wouldnt flush properly. The staff was nice enuf to provide a plunger (already in the room)so the guest has something to do. Who dont wanna plunge a Motel 6 toilet? The laundry rm was boarded up as i asked what happened at check in. She said one guest attempted a vechicular HOMICIDE on another guest and ran the car thru the building. The smoke detector was bagged up i Assume so that it wouldnt alert during usual *** smoking. no lamp or clock in room. The lighting above the bed didnt work, only vanity lamp; bathroom light worked.water damaged bathroom floor. Hole in wall patched up huge hole in wall behind door . The only positive of this is that if i ever decide to become a junkie I know where to score &;;;;;;; party. Place should be condemd. The owner is a slum lord

Usually it's a bad sign when people are just milling around in front of their rooms. Either they're waiting for customers or the rooms and television suck so much that no one wants to be inside.

And when the air conditioner doesn't work properly, that's another reason people mill around outside. The same thing goes for s hitty apartment complexes.

Terrible Night!

Last Thursday night 6/18/20, my partner stayed at the Barstow Motel 6. Tweekers were partying it up in the room upstairs. Scraping, pounding and thumping loudly until 3-4 AM. This was despite the manager being contacted. The pool had been filled in. The door jams were very rough (doors repeatedly kicked in). All my partner wanted was a nights sleep. That didn't happen. This has been a pervasive problem throughout your chain for sometime. Conversations with others have detailed issues similar to this one and worse. Perhaps you should rethink who is allowed to stay at your motels, plus hold your manager/franchisees accountable. Motel 6 is now a no go for us in the future Sincerely, Carolyn Baker

I used the Motel 6 app to reserve a room at the local Motel 6 in Mesa, Arizona (336 W Hampton)... I never went to confirm the reservation due to an emergency that popped up. So I called and I spoke with a young lady by the name of Amber (she was really professional and she handle the situation really well. She took my number and said shell get back with me to see what we can do about what happened. She never got back with me, so I called today and the lady on duty was really unprofessional and wouldnt let explain what happened, she started yelling and talking over me. Im really upset because not only did they charge me, they were really rude! Im not having it! I will be contacting the corporate office Monday morning to talk to someone about this

Need to talk to someone about some issues

My manager is very rude and intimidating to her employees. There is a very high turnover rate at my work because all the employees don't like the manager because of the way she treats us! Alot of people quit she also is rude to the customers too. It's not right to be treated very unprofessional and I am tired of it so I'd like to let someone know that's higher up than her

While myself and husband are disabled placed us on 2nd floor. Room was dirty, trim peeling off phone spray painted no table or microwave as stated, wifi not working. Than we got to go to bed pull back blankets there is braf on box spring. How could house cleaning miss this? Health Hazzard DIRTY! No answer front desk. My husband placed our own blankets and slept on floorwhile I slept in Chair.Coffee maker broken, no coffee AM and worker can do nothing to help. don't have your address changed to the hotel if you can help he because when you have to move they wanna act dumb like they don't know what your talking about when the post office says I have to contact the hotel to exctrodite my mail so my mail is the only thing that leaves their astablishment me and my bf have been dealing with the bs since dec when we had to leave and when we were there they were always rude and nasty to us when they would call us to come get our mail Motel 6 on 201 boyscout rd is the chain im complaing about and I know I am not the only one that has had a problem with this location

Upon arriving at hotel my friend Jessica Reed had already checked in. After putting my bag in the room I attempted to go to the office to show my ID. Instead I was dam near tackled by front desk employee demanding my ID Then telling me I couldn't stay there. I paid for the room and my friend would be getting there before me, I booked room in her name so she could get us checked in. Then they said no guest were allowed to have guest. According to Arizona hotel consumer law they can't tell guest they can't have visits from friends or family. As long as no guest stay in the room over night. Also their cameras are illegal to have in the spot their in the hallways. That camera can see into 4 different rooms when doors are open. They have many guests that they are watching them. Very inappropriate and unprofessional.

I reserved room and I checked in it was hot n the room 226 and turned down air went to get something to eat came back it was still hot called front desk told them and about 100 in morning it was way to hot called front desk again they told me nothing they could do cause the didnt have any more rooms available so I had to go rent another room somewhere else took me 4 days to get my money back from motel 6 it was a nasty smelly hotel

Bed Bugs

I booked a room for 3 nights at the Marion Illinois location. I used my US Bank debit card to reserve the room as well as pay for the 3 nights. Check in 04/07/2020 around 6:15 pm checkout at 04/08/2020 at 1:00 am. We kept getting bit while we were trying to go to sleep and we both were getting bit by something. Turning on the lights and pulling back the covers there were little reddish bugs at the foot of the bed. Being in an area in Southern Illinois and living in the area for 27 years the area just went through a major bed bug Outbreak shutting down schools and such. Your motel 6 in Marion Illinois has bed bugs in room #111. I informed the front desk and the gentleman stated that even though I am leaving I will not get a refund of my $148.50 the amount my bank was charged for 04/07/2020 to 04/10/2020. I have contacted my bank and they have been informed that I did not authorize the $148.50 to Motel 6 to pay for the hotel bed bug problem. Now I risk bringing bed bugs with me and my husband to my home, my car, my family. I am living during a Worldwide Pandemic too and my income has been affected too. I suffer from 2 different types of lung disease so the increased stress of hoping I don't catch the COVID-19 Coronavirus is already taking its toll but now I have to stress because your Hotel 6 won't refund my money because I had to leave due to a bed bug problem. I am on a fixed income of disability and now because your Motel took what little bit of money I had I know have to sleep in my car in a parking lot because now I don't have the money to get a different Motel. You should be ashamed of treating people like that and taking away from what little I have due to this Pandemic the entire World is Experiencing. You have put me at a higher risk than I already was of catching COVID-19. My Pulmonologist has informed me already that due to having 2 different types of lung disease I will not survive the COVID-19 Coronavirus. You can contact me at robinfitz73@***.com to hopefully resolve this situation. My bank will be disputing the charges also, I will contact whoever I have too to let others know just how your Hotel treats their guests. This is absolutely wrong in so many ways.

Room was disgusting. Floor was dirty. No microwave in room for first 3 days, then was delivered a moldy dirty microwave, broken drawer, no hangers, no chair for table, missing one end table, rude staff, trash all over property.
